Hi im a new rookie and I am about to work on my own gm armor but Istill need some infos before I buy anything. These are the infos I need: First off, do you need to be a member of the 501st to get SGB bucket and how I can contact him? Second, how can I contact MR.Laws for the gm chest part and does it includes the the back armor? Third, iv'e visited SteelBlitz site and is he willing to sell some parts to new comers?

Welcome Pandakrank, welcome to the 53rd. To answer some of your questions... [glow=red,2,300]1)[/glow] you don't need to be a 501st member to purchase and SGB lid. I've been working on my Armor for over 2 years and I'm still not 501st. He posts here once in a blue, so the best place to find him is on CT.net. Though don't PM him right off the bat asking him for a GM bucket (Long story), it's more of chance thing. Check out the for sale boards since he will notify members when he has a run. [glow=red,2,300]2)[/glow] MR. Laws posts here, though hasn't been around in a while so it's better to message him on imperialarmor.net . Be advised, he has a pretty long waiting period (both response and work flow since he is very busy). [glow=red,2,300]3.[/glow] Steeblitz, as with both 1 & 2, it's is best to contact him first. I'm pretty sure he would sell to new comers, just make sure you tell him you are serious about this project. Feel free to check out this link: 53rdfac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=buy&action=display&thread=560If you have more questions, feel free to ask. There are lots of good Marines here ready to help. Most of us here are working on the GM as our first armor and we learn from each other as go a long. Also, make sure to go through boards and read some of the older posts and there is lots of pretty helpful info.

Greetings and hello. I thought it only best to introduce myself before i leap in and start asking questions. I'm from the UK and i should hopefully start my GM build sometime this year. I've got the rifle ordered and just need everything else which in the mean time means lots and lots of research and questions.
Can't wait to get started and really stuck into this build and hopefully my questions won't be too noobish.

Hi there,
My name is Scott and I come from the land down under of New Zealand. I have already a TK armour under my belt and I am looking for another costume to build.
For a while know I have wanted to do a GM as I particularly like the overall look of the costume. I have been actively looking on other forums especially CTN for information about this costume and I am aware of various suppliers of the armour pieces.
I think mostly I could construct the armour from pieces myself, but the only piece that I may struggle with is the back pack.
Any advice you could give me would be a great help.
Cheers
Scott TK-3373

Sorry I couldn't be of much help. RamZ

Hi from France everybody, I'm Rudy, member of the French Garrison. I already have 2 costumes: a stormtrooper and a commander Bacara. After the commander, I'm looking to get started a GM. I already have (or I would have soon ) backpack, belt, arm set, chest and back, shoes, undersuit... So the project is on the road... At this time, I just need the helmet, shin and calves, knees and toes armor. I saw there's some great GM here and I'm looking forward to receiving their advice

Hello everybody! I'm Obviously new here and am Collecting Ref's and info on doing up a GM. I've got One more Costume to build Before I start this So I'll be trolling the boards and making and aquiring plans. I Have built 5 quality Custom Mandos so I'm not new to costuming, but this will be a challenge.
