 Shoulder Bell Questions
« Thread Started on Aug 22, 2009, 8:11pm »

Hey everyone. I am working on finding all the parts for my GM build. I have found just about everythiing except the boots and the Shoulder Bells. I don't have a backpack lined up yet either, but I will work on that last. Anyway, I can not seem to figure out how to go about getting the shoulder bells. Does anyone have some suggestions. The closest thing I have found so far is on imperialsurplus.com, his biker scout bells look similar in some shots, but too short in others. Any help you guys can give would be greatly appreciated. :)

I've been readin your post and read through older ones to see if I can find some usefull tips.

I'll start off by telling you how my GM armor is set up. My shoulder arm pieces are OSCS. TC armor for my left shoulder, and a Scout shoulder for my Right (as you mentioned in your post). Right before I bought my shoulders I was going to get large PVC pipe from a hardwars store (such as OSH, Home Depot, or Lowes), and then trim it out to fit me.

If you go to the picture thread, go to the Forum form San Diego Comic Con 2009, and you will see how my Shoulders look.

Have you tried looking on CT.net in the For Sale Board? I would suggest that as the best place to look for trooper armor parts. Hope that helped. Also, you can post the For Sale board here and post a WTB add. You never know if someone here might have the parts you need.

Thanks for the heads up, darkjawas.
I meant to say if anyone there was selling arm parts on CT's for sale board, and post a WTB on here. Sorry for the mix up and not making myself clear.

Send Banzai88 a pm over at CT.N He will direct you on where to get the shoulder bells. He is working on getting an awesome GM backpack made very soon (so ask him about that also), tell him Lloyd ("il-matic") sent you. About the boots, run a search for: "GBX &/or Kenneth Cole boots, mens". I hope that helps. ;)

so... call me crazy. i was looking at my buddy's TK armor (tk4484) and noticed his shoulder bell on his TK looks just like the bell on the right side of the marine. all youd have to do is remove the center ridge. any thoughts?

I'm sure the TK shoulder might work fine with a little modifying. Endges might need a little work, remove the ridge, and place the GM shoulder loops. Let's see what everyone else thinks first.
